A Sandy Beach Almanac

I live in a cabin on this beach, 25 kilometres north of the traffic and shops of Coffs Harbour, 600 km north of Sydney. My intention is to post observations of Nature and life within 1 km (1,000 paces) of my South Pacific home.

Every two weeks I go to 2BBB at Bellingen to record Almanac programs in advance (they play the five-minute talks each morning). Today I was five minutes early so I stopped at Fernmount and snapped one of my favourite Bellinger River views. Then the rain came.
